Additional Street Lights

The Hamlet accessed much need funds under the Federal Government’s Gas Tax Fund to procure and install additional streel lights in the community. The two-year contribution agreement with the Government of Nunavut ends March 2021. To date, the hamlet has contracted Qulliq Energy to procure and install/replace poles and LED lighting.  The project has been put on hold because of the COVID-19 travel restrictions however the community will be informed when work resumes.
