Land Administration
The Planning & Lands Department is responsible for land-use planning, land development and the administration of Municipal lands. It carries out Council decisions and provides a wide range of administrative and technical services. Key responsibilities include the preparation, adoption and enforcement of the Community Plan, Zoning By-Law and Land Administration By-Law; the review of Development Permit Applications and all transactions relating to the pricing, disposal and leasing of Municipal lands. The MMOS application is also administered in this department.
