Alcohol Education Committee

The Alcohol Education Committee is mandated to educate and counsel Clyde River residents in the use of alcohol for the prevention of alcohol abuse.

The Committee is also responsible for reviewing and approving applications to import liquor into the community; among other functions outlined in the Clyde River Liquor Restriction Regulations of the Liquor Act.  To learn more about the operations of the Alcohol Education committee view the Liquor Act – Clyde River Liquor Restriction Regulations

If you wish to bring in alcoholic beverages into the community by air or sealift, you must apply for a Permit form  before doing so.  Alternatively, if you would like to order alcoholic beverages through The Nunavut Liquor and Cannabis Commission, complete an order form.  Completed permits and order forms should be submitted to the Alcohol Education Committee c/o Municipality of Clyde River, P.O. Box 89 Clyde River Nunavut X0A 0E0.
