Fire Safety and Prevention

Fire protection services including suppression, fire prevention and fire cause determination/investigations in the community of approximately 2.2 square miles.

Public Education

An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.  Public education plays a very important role in the prevention of fires in the community.  Our Firefighters host several public fire and life safety education events throughout the year to help instill this knowledge.
Public education is also carried out during the annual Fire Prevention Week to inform community members about good fire safety practices and how to adhere to them.
